AutoPopulate a Textbox Like Facebook

Every time Facebook adds a fancy new gadget on their site, the rest of the internet slow catches up to accommodate what more than 800 million Facebook users come to expect as common functionality.

Today, I have a client looking to add any given number of tags to an object using a textbox, with a description of "in a manner like on Facebook, when tagging names of people in photos".
